Greetings folks and welcome to a landmark and loooooong overdue update here at Comicaptor, I have more news about my plans from here on out below, but first lets get today's update out of the way...
BATGIRL #35 - A GHOST FROM THE PAST
We finish off Batgirl's current run as she is confronted with someone claiming to be Starling, but how can that be when Starling died? Well find out, because that murder involved Barbara's brother James Jnr and this new Starling is out for payback!
NEWS:
Ok, so as stated in my previous journal entry, I'm semi-rebooting comicaptor. I'm not going to go over it again or my reasons why, they can be found in the previous journal I just mentioned. But I have some announcements regarding the first titles/comics I will be working on up until Christmas... and since its SDCC this weekend, what better time to announce my own stuff right?!
Ok, so the first books to be relaunched with brand new issue ones will be... BATGIRL, ZATANNA, BIRDS OF PREY and WONDER WOMAN. But titles such as TOMB RAIDER and METROID will be on the way in the future. As well as my BATGIRL BEGINS series which will depend on a certain model, but I still plan to do it. Perhaps that will be this years Big Christmas project that will take over from THE LEAGUE's annual mega-comic.
So there you have it, 4 comics coming up in the near future and more planned as the year goes on. Remember this won't be a once a week upload, it will be as and when I have a comic to upload, I'm really taking my foot off the gas to avoid burnout.

The Prospect of Payment
Greetings all. If you're reading this then you probably follow this page quite closely, or at least give enough of a damn to read these journal things. Kudos for you for that level of commitment. Anyway, as I floated a few uploads ago, I'm thinking of jumping ship from Deviantart for a number of reasons, mainly before I'm pushed with someone reporting my work and getting deleted without any means to continue it. SO, here we are. The leap of faith. The big pitch. Patreon. While i'll keep updating here on DA until the day I finally get booted off (which I suspect will happen with some of the material I have coming up being reported), I'm looking after 10+ years of making these comics to have them actually be worthy of a little income for my ever troubling life in finances. Comicaptor+ was a great success and thanks to all those who donated last year, but i'm looking for something a little less interactive and cheaper on your part. $1 a month. That's it. For that i'll upload shit
COMICAPTOR: ONE YEAR LATER
With Gotham Knights about to drop (and hopefully it's models making it into gmod) it's time to introduce you to my plans for the next few months here in regards to comics. Those in the know are aware that about 2 years ago (want to say 2?) I rebooted my universe with a new timeline and we've been in it ever since. Well it's time to move onto the next phase in this new timeline and use the GK models to justify moving from this current period of comics I'm now calling the "Divergence Era" and into what comes next... ONE. YEAR. LATER. Yep, I'm stealing it. One Year Later will follow on from my 20th volume of comics in the Divergence Era which will be titled... FALL OF THE JUSTICE LEAGUE and that will pave the way nicely to just change shit up in wilder ways to keep myself invested in telling these tales and also to give my more avid readers/followers something meaty story-wise to look forward to. I'll also be looking to sort out my page a little, maybe move the "Old Timeline" stuff

Terrible jokey title aside... Deviantart is really shitting the bed isn't it? Can't search favourites now because it's not cost effective? COST EFFECTIVE?! What does that even mean?! It's a FUCKING SEARCH BAR... how much COST can that be?! Honestly thinking of jumping ship from DA to another platform at this point. The state of this website these days is trash and a spit in the face to it in it's pomp. Suggestions for other websites are welcome, maybe it's time to go full Patreon and see if there's a £1 a month option for entry level folks. Would you lovely people follow me for such a venutre? Or am I doomed to remain here on DA with it's lack of A FUCKING SEARCHBAR... A SEARCH BAR!!! C'MON! REALLY?! Day drinking on a thursday - commence.
